There is little difference between a photography model and an actress or actor. In both cases, you must project whatever’s needed. You must project happy, sad, sincere, angry, etc.. and never look phony to the camera or the public. Your personality is the most important tool to be a successful model. A good plus size model can make a lot of money if he or she has personal confidence in there ability. There are lots of other special categories that are just as lucrative... for instance... hand modeling, a foot model, a hair model and the list goes on and on. You can do it.
